Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind has launched our Easter Chocolate Fundraiser 2018 in partnership with Purdys Chocolatier. You can purchase your Easter chocolate and support Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind. This program gives 25% of the profit back to Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind, and its an easy way to complete your Easter shopping. Prices are the same as in Purdys stores and many items are under $10! All Purdys Chocolates are made FRESH in their factory and without additives or preservatives.
Order deadline is Wednesday, March 14

Global Pet Foods 12th annual Show Us Your Heart Campaign takes place on Saturday, February 17, 2018. For a fifth consecutive year, the store at 3191 Strandherd Drive in Barrhaven (Ottawa, Ontario) has chosen Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind as their charity of choice for this campaign. Stop by the Barrhaven Global Pet Foods store for in-store activities, and to meet a guide dog in training. Well have dogs on-site throughout the day between 9:30am and 6:00pm.

Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind and Manotick Veterinary Hospital invite you to an evening of the big band sounds of the Ottawa New Horizons Two Beats Ahead Jazz Band on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Orchard View Wedding & Event Centre, 6346 Deermeadow Drive, Greely. Meet future guide dogs when the doors open at 7:30pm, and groove and dance to the music from 8:00pm. 100% of ticket sales benefit Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind, and the venue has been donated free of charge by Orchard View. Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind presents our 34th annual Dollar$ for Dog$ Fundraising Dog Walk. This is an event for the public and their pet dogs to raise funds for Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind. Raise pledges in advance and join us for a four-kilometre walk in the park on May 27. $100 in pledges will get you an exclusive Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind t-shirt; $500 gets you a $50 gift card from a major retailer; $1,000 will get you a $100 gift card. After the walk, stick around for door prizes and a barbecue. More details coming soon!

Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind will host our 5th annual Nine & Dine Golf Fun Day & Lobster Dinner at the Canadian Golf & Country Club, 7800 Golf Club Way, Ashton on Sunday, June 24, 2018. The day features 9-holes of golf with cart, plus a scrumptious, full lobster dinner to follow. Shotgun start is 2:00pm, with dinner at 5:30pm, and plenty of prizes. This is meant as a fun day of golf. Experienced players are certainly welcome. However, we encourage new or occasional golfers to join in the fun, with no pressure! More information coming soon.
