2018-06-24CGDB Nine & Dine Golf Fun Day & Lobster Dinner -

Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind will host our 5th annual Nine & Dine Golf Fun Day & Lobster Dinner at the Canadian Golf & Country Club, 7800 Golf Club Way, Ashton on Sunday, June 24, 2018. The day features 9-holes of golf with cart, plus a scrumptious, full lobster dinner to follow (chicken and vegetarian options too). Shotgun start is 2:00pm, with dinner at 5:30pm, and plenty of prizes. This is meant as a fun day of golf. Experienced players are certainly welcome. However, we encourage new or occasional golfers to join in the fun, with no pressure! Cost is $105 per player. Email events@guidedogs.ca for more information. Sign up to play online. 2018-07-22UK Day Garden Party & Tea -

Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind hosts our annual UK Day Garden Party & Tea. Stop by for authentic Devon cream tea, with scones prepared by the Chef at Earnscliffe, the residence of the British High Commissioner, and English Double Devon cream donated by Bakker’s General Store, Manotick. Enjoy the live music by Brian E. Lynch – Guitar and Voice. And, get your imported food and wares from British food vendor Clarence & Cripps. The event takes place at the National Training Centre of Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind, 4120 Rideau Valley Drive North, Manotick on Sunday, July 22, 2018 from 1pm-4pm. This is a rain or shine event with indoor & outdoor seating. All proceeds are directed towards the training of guide dogs and assistance dogs. Tickets are available for $13 in advance at Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind or by phone at 613-692-7777. Cost at the door will be $15.
