2017-07-23UK Day Garden Party & Tea -

Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind hosts our annual UK Day Garden Party & Tea. Stop by for authentic Devon cream tea & freshly baked scones; enjoy the live music from David Bean; and get your imported food and wares from British food vendor Clarence & Cripps. The event takes place at the National Training Centre of Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind, 4120 Rideau Valley Drive North, Manotick on Sunday, July 23, 2017 from 1pm-4pm. This is a rain or shine event with indoor & outdoor seating. All proceeds are directed towards the training of guide dogs and assistance dogs. Tickets are available for $13 in advance at Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind or by phone at 613-692-7777. Cost at the door will be $15.

Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind will be open to the public from 12-3pm on Thursday, August 3, 2017, as we host an Open Tour Day, featuring tours of our residence building and kennels, training demonstrations, and lots of dogs on-site. Admission to this event is free, but donations are gratefully accepted on-site. If you enjoy your day please consider supporting what we do!

Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind will host a Guide Dogs Info Day at the Stormont Dundas & Glengarry County Library in Alexandria, Ontario. Meet “Gus”, a working guide dog, and learn more about what guide dogs do and how they help. The event starts at 11:00am on Saturday, September 9, 2017.

2017-09-10Guide Dog Motorcycle Ride -

The 29th annual Guide Dog Ride is an all-brand motorcycle ride in support of Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind. The day features a 180-kms ride, plus BBQ to follow. Save the date for 2017! More details coming soon.
